If you haven't played tennis before or you are not familiar with technical shots and game tactics, you should join beginners group. And If you sign up for a beginners group, your coach would expect you to be exactly that: a beginner! What our coaches like to see is a passion for sport and a willingness to learn. It also helps to have a basic level of fitness so that you can move around the court.
To take you from a beginner to an intermediate tennis player, there are a number of skills you'll want to get to grips with. You'll need to gain an understanding of the basic techniques, movements and rules of the game, including: forehand, backhand, volley and serving. Once you've got these under your belt, you can experience returning shots, some basic match tactics and get involved in a tournament/points with players of your level.
On weekends, we organize a match for beginners group to play against each other so that your coach can understand how much have you learnt yet.
We keep coaching sessions fun so that you are motivated to keep practicing.
